Good morning, Faith and Fitness Family. This is Deacon Melvin Adams, and I thank God for the opportunity to lead us in Day Nine of 10 Days Ablaze. On Day One, we prayed for the Lord Jesus Christ to wake us up to stand in truth and not be shaken. On Day Two, we prayed for Him to teach us to dwell under His covering and rest in His peace. On Day Three, we prayed for the tongue of the learned and the ear to hear morning by morning. On Day Four, we prayed for Him to keep our love hot when wickedness abounds. On Day Five, we prayed for Him to make us salt, light, and truth-bearers in a darkening world. On Day Six, we prayed for Him to form us in humility, justice, mercy, and holy discernment. On Day Seven, we prayed for Him to cover our homes, heal the hidden, and restore the brokenhearted. On Day Eight, we prayed for Him to strengthen mighty men, young servants, and the next generation to stand. Today, we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to make us watchmen, intercessors, and wailing worshippers before Him. Because in these days, the people of God must not be asleep. We must watch. We must pray. We must stand in the gap. We must cry out before the Lord with worship, repentance, discernment, and holy burden.
Father God, we come before You this morning in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank You for another day. We thank You for Your mercy. We thank You for Your grace. We thank You for Your Word. We thank You for the Holy Spirit. We thank You for calling Your people not only to receive from You, but to stand before You in prayer.
Lord, today we come as people who need You to awaken the watchman in us.
Awaken prayer in us.
Awaken intercession in us.
Awaken worship in us.
Awaken holy burden in us.
Awaken discernment in us.
Awaken repentance in us.
Awaken the cry of the Spirit in us.
Father, make us watchmen.
Make us intercessors.
Make us wailing worshippers before You.
Not people who panic.
Not people who perform.
Not people who complain only.
Not people who observe darkness without praying.
Not people who see trouble but remain silent.
Make us people who stand before You.
People who watch with sober hearts.
People who pray with clean hands.
People who worship through burden.
People who cry out for mercy.
People who stand in the gap.
Your Word declares:
Ezekiel 22:30
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land..."
"...that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
Father, let it not be said in our day that You sought for someone to stand in the gap and found none.
Find us praying.
Find us watching.
Find us standing.
Find us worshipping.
Find us repenting.
Find us crying out.
Find us available.
Find us willing.
Find us before You.
Lord Jesus Christ, make us gap-standers. Make us people who do not simply point at what is broken, but bring what is broken before You. Make us people who do not simply talk about families, churches, communities, leaders, youth, nations, and generations, but intercede for them.
Father, teach us to stand in the gap for our homes.
Stand in the gap for our families.
Stand in the gap for our children.
Stand in the gap for our churches.
Stand in the gap for our communities.
Stand in the gap for leaders.
Stand in the gap for the wounded.
Stand in the gap for the lost.
Stand in the gap for the next generation.
Stand in the gap for the land.
Lord, forgive us where we have been awake to news but asleep in prayer. Forgive us where we have watched problems more than we have watched before You. Forgive us where we have spoken about burdens more than we have carried them to the altar. Forgive us where we have complained, criticized, judged, or withdrawn instead of praying.
Father, wake us up again.
Wake up the prayer life.
Wake up the altar.
Wake up the intercessor.
Wake up the watchman.
Wake up the worshipper.
Wake up the burden.
Wake up the cry.
Your Word says:
Isaiah 62:6–7
"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night..."
"...ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,"
"And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
Father, set watchmen on the walls again. Set watchmen in families. Set watchmen in churches. Set watchmen in ministries. Set watchmen in communities. Set watchmen in this generation.
Teach us not to hold our peace when You have called us to pray. Teach us to make mention of the Lord. Teach us to keep not silence. Teach us to pray until You establish what You desire to establish.
Lord, give us endurance in prayer.
Give us consistency in prayer.
Give us sincerity in prayer.
Give us patience in prayer.
Give us faith in prayer.
Give us humility in prayer.
Give us boldness in prayer.
Give us love in prayer.
Lord Jesus Christ, make us watchmen who know the difference between fear and warning. Make us watchmen who know the difference between gossip and discernment. Make us watchmen who know the difference between suspicion and the Spirit of God. Make us watchmen who know the difference between noise and Your voice.
Make us sober.
Make us steady.
Make us prayerful.
Make us discerning.
Make us humble.
Make us obedient.
Make us faithful.
Make us quiet enough to hear and bold enough to pray.
Your Word declares:
Habakkuk 2:1
"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower..."
"...and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved."
Father, teach us to stand upon our watch. Teach us to watch to see what You will say. Teach us to be corrected by You. Teach us to answer rightly when You reprove us.
Help us not watch from pride.
Help us not watch from fear.
Help us not watch from anger.
Help us not watch from suspicion.
Help us not watch from control.
Help us watch from obedience.
Help us watch from love.
Help us watch from humility.
Help us watch from the fear of the Lord.
Father, make us intercessors. Teach us to pray beyond ourselves. Teach us to pray for others with compassion. Teach us to pray for those who cannot pray for themselves. Teach us to pray for those who are weak, lost, wounded, deceived, bound, grieving, confused, or under pressure.
Your Word declares:
1 Timothy 2:1–2
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;"
"For kings, and for all that are in authority..."
Father, teach us to make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all people. Teach us to pray for those in authority. Teach us to pray for leaders without hatred. Teach us to pray for families without judgment. Teach us to pray for the lost without pride. Teach us to pray for the wounded without impatience. Teach us to pray for the next generation without despair.
Make us intercessors with clean hearts.
Make us intercessors with patient spirits.
Make us intercessors with faith.
Make us intercessors with compassion.
Make us intercessors who do not grow weary.
Lord, give us holy burden. Not burden that crushes us, but burden that drives us to prayer. Not burden that makes us anxious, but burden that makes us dependent on You. Not burden that makes us prideful, but burden that makes us humble before You.
Father, give us a burden for souls.
A burden for families.
A burden for children.
A burden for the brokenhearted.
A burden for the lost.
A burden for the Church.
A burden for holiness.
A burden for truth.
A burden for mercy.
A burden for the next generation.
A burden for Your will to be done.
Your Word says:
Romans 8:26
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought..."
"...but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
Holy Spirit, help us pray. Help us when we are weak. Help us when we do not know what to say. Help us when words are not enough. Help us when all we have is a groan. Help us when all we have is tears. Help us when all we can do is bow before God.
Lord Jesus Christ, make us wailing worshippers. Not people who wail without hope, and not people who worship without compassion. Make us people whose worship carries truth, tears, repentance, and faith.
Teach us how to worship through burden.
Worship through tears.
Worship through repentance.
Worship through warfare.
Worship through uncertainty.
Worship through grief.
Worship through waiting.
Worship through intercession.
Your Word declares:
Jeremiah 9:17–18
"Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come..."
"...and send for cunning women, that they may come:"
"And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us..."
Father, raise up holy wailing before You. Raise up those who know how to cry out before You, not for attention, but for mercy. Raise up women and men who know how to travail in prayer. Raise up worshippers who are not shallow. Raise up intercessors who are not casual. Raise up believers who are not numb.
Lord, deliver us from numbness.
Deliver us from coldness.
Deliver us from prayerlessness.
Deliver us from shallow worship.
Deliver us from spiritual distraction.
Deliver us from entertainment without burden.
Deliver us from noise without intercession.
Deliver us from words without tears.
Give us hearts that can still weep over what grieves You.
Hearts that can still rejoice in Your goodness.
Hearts that can still repent.
Hearts that can still worship.
Hearts that can still believe.
Hearts that can still stand.
Lord, we pray for the Church. Make the Church watchful again. Make the Church prayerful again. Make the Church repentant again. Make the Church discerning again. Make the Church compassionate again. Make the Church bold again. Make the Church holy again.
Do not let the Church sleep while darkness increases.
Do not let the Church argue while souls are lost.
Do not let the Church perform while altars are empty.
Do not let the Church become distracted from prayer.
Do not let the Church become numb to sin.
Do not let the Church become silent where You have called us to cry out.
Your Word says:
Matthew 26:40–41
"...What, could ye not watch with Me one hour?"
"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation..."
Father, forgive us where we have not watched with You. Forgive us where we have slept in the hour of prayer. Forgive us where the flesh has been weak and the spirit has needed stirring.
Teach us to watch and pray.
Watch and pray over our homes.
Watch and pray over our children.
Watch and pray over our hearts.
Watch and pray over our churches.
Watch and pray over our communities.
Watch and pray over the next generation.
Watch and pray so we do not enter into temptation.
Father God, bring this Word deeper into our own hearts. Awaken the watchman in us. Awaken the intercessor in us. Awaken the worshipper in us. Awaken the burden in us. Awaken the altar in us. Awaken the prayer life in us. Awaken the cry in us.
Search our hearts. Show us where prayer has grown cold. Show us where worship has become routine. Show us where we have been watching everything except what You are saying. Show us where we have been listening to noise more than listening to Your Spirit.
Your Word declares:
Psalm 139:23–24
"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:"
"And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Father, search us. Know our hearts. Try our thoughts. See what is in us that keeps us from watching, praying, worshipping, and standing before You with clean hands and humble hearts.
Search our distractions.
Search our priorities.
Search our motives.
Search our weariness.
Search our fears.
Search our unbelief.
Search our silence.
Search our prayerlessness.
Search our private life.
Search our worship.
Where we have been distracted, refocus us.
Where we have been tired, strengthen us.
Where we have been numb, awaken us.
Where we have been silent, stir us.
Where we have been casual, sober us.
Where we have been fearful, give us courage.
Where we have been proud, humble us.
Where we have been prayerless, call us back to the altar.
Father, teach us to watch over our own souls first. Before we watch over others, teach us to guard our own hearts. Before we discern the times, teach us to discern our own condition. Before we cry out for the land, teach us to repent before You personally.
Your Word says:
Proverbs 4:23
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."
Father, help us keep our hearts with all diligence. Guard our hearts from bitterness, offense, fear, pride, unbelief, spiritual laziness, prayerlessness, and coldness toward the things of God.
Lord Jesus Christ, make us watchful within. Teach us to notice when our love is cooling. Teach us to notice when our faith is weakening. Teach us to notice when compromise is creeping. Teach us to notice when distraction is increasing. Teach us to notice when we are feeding the flesh and starving the spirit.
Your Word declares:
1 Peter 5:8
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about..."
"...seeking whom he may devour:"
Father, make us sober and vigilant. Do not let us live carelessly. Do not let us assume we are strong while neglecting prayer. Keep us watchful. Keep us awake. Keep us covered. Keep us humble. Keep us near to You.
Lord, awaken personal intercession in us. Teach us to pray when nobody is watching. Teach us to pray when there is no microphone. Teach us to pray when there is no audience. Teach us to pray when we are alone. Teach us to pray when we are tired. Teach us to pray when words are few.
Your Word says:
Matthew 6:6
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet..."
"...and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret..."
"...and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
Father, call us back to the secret place. Call us back to private surrender. Call us back to quiet obedience. Call us back to prayer that is real when nobody sees.
Let our public prayers be rooted in private prayer.
Let our corporate prayers be strengthened by secret prayer.
Let our intercession be born from time with You.
Let our worship be real before it is heard by anybody else.
Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to pray for people with compassion and not control. Teach us to intercede without pride. Teach us to carry burdens without becoming self-important. Teach us to stand in the gap without standing above anyone.
Your Word declares:
Galatians 6:1–2
"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness..."
"...considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
Father, teach us to restore in the spirit of meekness. Teach us to consider ourselves. Teach us to bear one another’s burdens. Do not let us pray like people who have never needed mercy. Give us meekness, mercy, wisdom, confidentiality, and compassion.
Lord, awaken holy burden in us. Not anxiety. Not panic. Not heaviness that destroys us. Holy burden that drives us to prayer, moves us to compassion, makes us available, and keeps us faithful.
Your Word says:
Nehemiah 1:4
"And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept..."
"...and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,"
Father, give us the kind of burden that leads us before the God of heaven. When we hear of broken walls, wounded families, lost souls, confused children, weary believers, and suffering communities, do not let us only react. Teach us to pray.
Lord Jesus Christ, awaken the wailing worshipper in us. Purify our worship. Let it not be entertainment only, sound only, habit only, emotion only, or performance only. Let it be spirit and truth.
Your Word declares:
John 4:23–24
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth..."
"...for the Father seeketh such to worship Him."
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
Father, make us true worshippers. Worshippers who do not need a crowd. Worshippers who do not need perfect conditions. Worshippers who worship because You are worthy.
Let worship rise from our homes.
Let worship rise from our prayer closets.
Let worship rise from our tears.
Let worship rise from our repentance.
Let worship rise from our obedience.
Let worship rise from our waiting.
Let worship rise from our intercession.
Father, give us broken and contrite hearts.
Your Word says:
Psalm 51:17
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit..."
"...a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise."
Do not let us become hard. Do not let us become cold. Do not let us become proud. Do not let us become numb. Do not let us become too familiar with sacred things.
Lord, we repent for prayerlessness. We repent for distractions. We repent for spiritual laziness. We repent for cold worship. We repent for ignoring burdens. We repent for complaining when we should have prayed. We repent for judging when we should have interceded. We repent for sleeping when You called us to watch.
Father, forgive us.
Cleanse us.
Restore us.
Awaken us.
Refill us.
Reposition us before You.
Your Word declares:
Lamentations 3:40–41
"Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord."
"Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens."
Father, we search and try our ways. We turn again to You. We lift up our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens.
We return to prayer.
We return to worship.
We return to watchfulness.
We return to intercession.
We return to holy burden.
We return to the altar.
Lord Jesus Christ, heal the intercessor in us. Heal tired intercessors. Heal disappointed intercessors. Heal wounded intercessors. Heal discouraged intercessors. Heal lonely intercessors. Heal silent intercessors. Heal those who carried burdens and forgot how to rest in You.
Your Word says:
Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength..."
"...they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Father, renew strength in those who wait upon You. Restore their prayer life. Restore their faith. Restore their hope. Restore their joy in Your presence.
Teach us to carry burdens without being crushed by them. Teach us to intercede without trying to be Savior. Teach us to pray and then trust You. Teach us to cry out and then rest in You. Teach us to stand in the gap and still sleep in peace.
Now, Father, let watchfulness, intercession, and worship move outward into our homes, families, churches, communities, leaders, children, youth, elders, and the land.
Make us watchmen for our homes. Let every home represented in this prayer journey have someone watching in prayer. Someone calling on the Name of the Lord. Someone covering the family. Someone praying for peace, salvation, protection, wisdom, and guidance.
Your Word declares:
Joshua 24:15
"...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
Father, let our homes serve the Lord. Let our houses become houses of prayer. Let prayer rise in kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, cars, quiet corners, and hidden places. Let worship rise in homes. Let repentance rise in homes. Let Scripture return to homes. Let the Name of Jesus Christ be honored in homes.
Your Word says:
Psalm 127:1
"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it..."
Father, build our houses. Build our homes. Build our families with prayer, truth, love, wisdom, holiness, and the presence of Jesus Christ.
Lord, make us intercessors for our children and youth. Let us not only complain about young people, but pray for them. Let us not only worry about them, but cover them. Let us not only correct them, but intercede for them.
Father, we stand in the gap for sons and daughters.
We stand in the gap for children.
We stand in the gap for teenagers.
We stand in the gap for young adults.
We stand in the gap for young servants.
We stand in the gap for the confused.
We stand in the gap for the wounded.
We stand in the gap for the tempted.
We stand in the gap for the prodigal.
We stand in the gap for those who do not yet know You.
Your Word declares:
Isaiah 54:13
"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children."
Father, let our children be taught of the Lord. Let great peace be upon our children. Teach them when we cannot reach them. Speak to them when we are not in the room. Protect them when they are out of our sight. Guide them when they are making decisions. Convict them when they are near danger. Comfort them when they are hurting.
Father, make us watchmen in the Church. Let the Body of Christ return to prayer. Let churches become houses of prayer again. Let altars be restored. Let repentance be restored. Let worship be restored. Let holiness be restored. Let intercession be restored. Let discernment be restored.
Your Word declares:
Isaiah 56:7
"...for Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."
Father, make Your house a house of prayer. Not only a house of programs. Not only a house of performance. Not only a house of tradition. Make Your house a house of prayer.
Let prayer fill the sanctuary.
Let prayer fill the leadership.
Let prayer fill the worship.
Let prayer fill the teaching.
Let prayer fill the decisions.
Let prayer fill the outreach.
Let prayer fill the youth ministry.
Lord Jesus Christ, awaken pastors, elders, ministers, deacons, mothers, fathers, worshippers, teachers, intercessors, and servants. Let leaders watch over souls with humility.
Your Word says:
Hebrews 13:17
"...for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account..."
Father, strengthen every leader who must watch for souls. Give them clean hands, pure hearts, endurance, discernment, wisdom, compassion, courage, accountability, and rest.
Father, make us intercessors for leaders. Teach us to pray for leaders instead of only criticizing them. Teach us to cover leaders instead of exposing them carelessly. Teach us to ask You for wisdom, protection, correction, humility, courage, purity, and guidance over those carrying responsibility.
Lord, make us watchmen for our communities. Let us notice what needs prayer. Let us notice who is hurting. Let us notice where darkness is trying to enter. Let us notice where young people are vulnerable. Let us notice where families are under pressure. Let us notice where elders are lonely. Let us notice where the poor are overlooked. Let us notice where violence, addiction, fear, grief, and despair are trying to settle.
Your Word says:
Jeremiah 29:7
"And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives..."
"...and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace."
Father, teach us to seek the peace of the places where You have planted us. Teach us to pray unto the Lord for our communities. Let peace come into neighborhoods, schools, families, leaders, households, streets, and places of conflict.
Father, make us wailing worshippers for the broken places around us. Give us hearts that can still feel, still cry out, still worship, and still believe You can heal families, save souls, deliver the bound, restore the broken, and revive the Church.
Your Word declares:
Joel 2:17
"Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar..."
"...and let them say, Spare Thy people, O Lord..."
Father, teach us to weep between the porch and the altar. Teach us to cry out, “Spare Thy people, O Lord.”
Spare our families.
Spare our children.
Spare our youth.
Spare our churches.
Spare our communities.
Spare the wounded.
Spare the lost.
Spare the next generation.
Lord Jesus Christ, call back those who have lost their way. Draw back those who once prayed and stopped, served and drifted, believed and grew cold, worshipped and became wounded.
Your Word says:
Luke 15:4
"What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine..."
"...and go after that which is lost, until he find it?"
Lord Jesus Christ, go after the lost sheep. Go after the wandering. Go after the wounded. Go after the discouraged. Go after the deceived. Go after the prodigal. Go after the one that seems far away.
Father, we pray for the wounded and brokenhearted. We pray for those grieving, depressed, anxious, silently suffering, forgotten, invisible, and feeling like nobody is standing in the gap for them.
Let someone pray.
Let someone call their name before You.
Let someone carry them to the altar.
Let someone worship until hope rises.
Let someone stand in faith while they are weak.
Your Word declares:
James 5:16
"...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
Father, make our prayers effectual. Make our prayers fervent. Make our prayers righteous. Let prayer avail much for families, healing, salvation, deliverance, the next generation, and communities.
Lord, teach us not to underestimate prayer. Teach us not to despise hidden prayer. Teach us not to give up when results are not immediate. Teach us not to stop praying because the burden is long.
Father, we pray for worship to rise in dry places. Worship in homes. Worship in churches. Worship in hospitals. Worship in nursing homes. Worship in schools. Worship in prisons. Worship in shelters. Worship in cars. Worship in workplaces. Worship in quiet rooms. Worship in hard seasons.
Your Word says:
Psalm 22:3
"But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."
Father, inhabit the praises of Your people. Let praise rise in places where fear has been loud, grief has been heavy, confusion has lingered, and prayer has grown quiet.
Lord, strengthen hidden intercessors. Those who pray when nobody knows. Those who carry names before You. Those who cry in secret. Those who wake up with burdens. Those who stand for families, churches, leaders, communities, and nations.
Your Word declares:
Exodus 17:12
"But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him..."
"...and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands..."
Father, send Aaron and Hur support. Strengthen heavy hands. Refresh weary intercessors. Encourage hidden servants. Give rest to burden-bearers. Let no one collapse under a burden You called the Body to help carry.
Father, make The Faith and Fitness Foundation a ministry of watchfulness, intercession, worship, wellness, healing, and holy burden. Let this work not only provide resources, but raise up people who know how to pray. Let this ministry strengthen homes, awaken families, support youth, encourage leaders, comfort the wounded, and call people back to Jesus Christ.
Let prayer be in the foundation.
Let worship be in the foundation.
Let Scripture be in the foundation.
Let repentance be in the foundation.
Let compassion be in the foundation.
Let service be in the foundation.
Let the Holy Spirit govern the work.
Let Jesus Christ be glorified in the work.
Now, Father, seal this ninth day of 10 Days Ablaze with watchfulness, prayer, holy burden, worship, repentance, compassion, discernment, endurance, and the cry of the Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus Christ, do not let this prayer remain only words.
Let it become a watch.
Let it become an altar.
Let it become intercession.
Let it become worship.
Let it become repentance.
Let it become compassion.
Let it become holy burden.
Let it become obedience.
Let it become a people standing before You.
Seal us as people who stand in the gap. Let it not be said of our homes, churches, families, communities, generation, or land that You sought for someone to stand before You and found none.
Find us praying.
Find us watching.
Find us worshipping.
Find us repenting.
Find us interceding.
Find us carrying burdens to the altar.
Find us standing in the gap.
Find us available before You.
Lord, seal the watchman in us. Let us stand upon our watch with humility, sobriety, discernment, patience, and obedience.
Seal watchfulness in our homes.
Seal watchfulness in our families.
Seal watchfulness in our churches.
Seal watchfulness in our ministries.
Seal watchfulness in our communities.
Seal watchfulness over our children.
Seal watchfulness over our own souls.
Lord, seal the intercessor in us. Let prayer not be something we visit only in crisis, but something we live from daily. Let prayer become breath. Let prayer become posture. Let prayer become instinct. Let prayer become the first response, not the last resort.
Continue us in prayer.
Establish us in prayer.
Mature us in prayer.
Strengthen us in prayer.
Teach us to watch in prayer with thanksgiving.
Lord Jesus Christ, seal holy burden in us. Let our burden not become anxiety, despair, control, or heaviness without hope. Let our burden become intercession, worship, compassion, action, and surrender before You.
Holy Spirit, help us pray. Help us when we do not know what to pray. Help us when the burden is deeper than words. Help us when all we have is a groan. Help us when tears speak what our mouths cannot say.
Father, seal worship in us. Make us true worshippers. Worshippers in spirit and truth. Worshippers whose lives bow before You. Worshippers whose hearts belong to You. Worshippers whose obedience honors You.
Let worship rise in homes.
Let worship rise in churches.
Let worship rise in cars.
Let worship rise in quiet rooms.
Let worship rise in hospitals.
Let worship rise in nursing homes.
Let worship rise in schools.
Let worship rise in workplaces.
Let worship rise where fear has been loud.
Let worship rise where grief has been heavy.
Let worship rise where prayer has grown quiet.
Lord, seal repentance in us. Do not let us pray for everyone else and refuse correction ourselves. Do not let us watch others and ignore our own hearts. Do not let us cry out for the land while protecting hidden sin. Do not let us worship with our mouths while resisting Your Word in our lives.
Father, we search and try our ways. We turn again to You. We lift up our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens. Search us. Cleanse us. Correct us. Restore us. Awaken us. Call us back to prayer, worship, obedience, and the altar.
Lord Jesus Christ, seal our homes as places of prayer. Let homes become altars, sanctuaries, places of worship, places of truth, places of repentance, places of covering, places where children hear prayer, and places where families call upon the Lord.
Lord, seal our churches as houses of prayer. Let the Church not lose the altar. Let the Church not lose travail. Let the Church not lose repentance. Let the Church not lose worship. Let the Church not lose intercession. Let the Church not lose the fear of the Lord.
Lord, seal leaders in prayer. Let leaders watch for souls with humility and holy fear. Let leaders pray before they plan, repent before they correct, worship before they work, seek You before they speak, and remember they must give account.
Lord, seal the next generation in prayer. Let children, youth, young servants, sons, daughters, and young adults be covered by intercession. Let them not be abandoned in prayer. Let them not be left uncovered while the world speaks loudly to them.
Father, raise up parents who pray.
Grandparents who pray.
Mentors who pray.
Teachers who pray.
Pastors who pray.
Deacons who pray.
Mothers who pray.
Fathers who pray.
Friends who pray.
Intercessors who call their names before You.
Lord, seal our communities in intercession. Teach us to seek the peace of the places where You have planted us. Teach us to pray for neighborhoods, schools, streets, leaders, elders, youth, families, and those who are hurting.
Lord, seal wailing worship in us. Let the cry before You be holy. Let tears not be wasted. Let worship not be shallow. Let intercession not be cold. Let repentance not be surface-level. Let our cry rise before You with faith.
Spare families.
Spare children.
Spare youth.
Spare churches.
Spare communities.
Spare leaders.
Spare the wounded.
Spare the lost.
Spare the next generation.
Lord, seal the intercessors who are tired. Seal the hidden prayer warriors. Seal those who have carried burdens in secret. Seal those whose hands have grown heavy. Seal those who have prayed for years. Seal those who have cried through the night. Seal those who have stood when no one noticed.
Father, send Aaron and Hur support. Strengthen heavy hands. Refresh weary intercessors. Encourage hidden servants. Raise up support, encouragement, prayer partners, wise covering, and faithful helpers.
Lord, seal faith in our prayers. Remind us that prayer still availeth much. Remind us that hidden prayer matters. Remind us that effectual fervent prayer still works. Remind us that You hear. Remind us that You answer according to Your will. Remind us that no sincere prayer before You is wasted.
Lord, seal The Faith and Fitness Foundation as a ministry of watchfulness, intercession, wailing worship, wellness, healing, hope, and holy service. Let prayer remain in the foundation. Let Scripture remain in the foundation. Let worship remain in the foundation. Let repentance remain in the foundation. Let compassion remain in the foundation. Let the Holy Spirit govern this work.
Let this ministry raise up praying people.
Watchful people.
Worshipping people.
Healthy people.
Restored people.
Strengthened people.
Families who pray.
Youth who stand.
Leaders who serve.
Communities that are covered.
Let Jesus Christ be glorified.
Father, today we declare:
We will watch and pray.
We will stand in the gap.
We will make up the hedge.
We will not keep silent when You call us to pray.
We will seek the peace of the places where You have planted us.
We will carry burdens to the altar.
We will worship in spirit and in truth.
We will pray for our homes.
We will pray for our children.
We will pray for our churches.
We will pray for our leaders.
We will pray for our communities.
We will pray for the wounded.
We will pray for the lost.
We will pray for the next generation.
We will continue in prayer.
We will watch with thanksgiving.
We will stand upon our watch.
We will lift our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for Day Nine. Thank You for calling us to watch. Thank You for calling us to intercede. Thank You for calling us to worship before You. Thank You for helping us by the Holy Spirit when we do not know what to pray as we ought. Thank You for giving us burdens that bring us to the altar, not burdens that destroy us. Thank You for hearing the prayers of Your people.
Seal this prayer in every heart. Seal watchfulness in every home. Seal intercession in every family. Seal worship in every believer. Seal prayer in every church. Seal discernment in every leader. Seal covering over every child. Seal peace over every community. Seal strength over every intercessor. Seal holy burden in every willing servant.
Now seal this day in the mighty, holy, watchful, interceding, worship-worthy, burden-bearing, prayer-answering, and matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen. Amen. And Amen.
Faith and Fitness Family, this has been Deacon Melvin Adams, and I thank God for the opportunity to lead us in Day Nine of 10 Days Ablaze. Let us go forward today as watchmen, intercessors, and worshippers before the Lord. May we watch and pray, stand in the gap, and worship in spirit and in truth as the Holy Spirit helps us pray.
🔥 Faith and Fitness Family, the prayer line is now open. As the Spirit of God leads, you are welcome to share in corporate intercessory prayer.
