Good morning, Faith and Fitness Family. This is Minister-elect Shaundra Colson, and I thank God for the opportunity to lead us in Day Four of 10 Days Ablaze. On Day One, we prayed for the Lord Jesus Christ to wake us up to stand in truth and not be shaken. On Day Two, we prayed for Him to teach us to dwell under His covering and rest in His peace. On Day Three, we prayed for the tongue of the learned and the ear to hear morning by morning. Today, we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to keep our love hot when wickedness abounds. Because in these last and difficult days, we cannot allow fear, offense, deception, pressure, or lawlessness to make our hearts grow cold.

Father God, we come before You this morning in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank You for another day. We thank You for another opportunity to pray. We thank You for Your mercy. We thank You for Your Word. We thank You for the Holy Spirit. We thank You for keeping us, covering us, teaching us, correcting us, and calling us deeper.

Lord, we come humbly before You today. We do not want cold hearts. We do not want hard hearts. We do not want bitter hearts. We do not want careless hearts. We do not want hearts that still look religious but no longer burn with love for You.

Your Word declares:

Matthew 24:12–13

"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Father, keep our love from waxing cold.

When iniquity abounds, keep our love hot.

When wickedness increases, keep our love pure.

When deception spreads, keep our love rooted in truth.

When pressure rises, keep our love steady.

When people offend us, keep our love clean.

When the world grows darker, keep our love burning for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord, we do not want to be counted among the many whose love grows cold. We ask You to examine us. Search our hearts. Show us where love has cooled. Show us where compassion has weakened. Show us where offense has settled. Show us where disappointment has hardened us. Show us where fear has made us withdraw. Show us where pride has made us less tender.

Your Word says:

Psalm 139:23–24

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:"

"And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Father, search us. Know our hearts. Try us. Know our thoughts. See what is in us that does not look like You. See what is in us that does not sound like You. See what is in us that does not reflect the heart of Jesus Christ.

Lead us in the way everlasting.

Lord Jesus Christ, we confess that it is easy to grow cold when we keep seeing wickedness, injustice, deception, cruelty, confusion, pride, violence, dishonor, rebellion, and spiritual compromise. It is easy to become numb. It is easy to become angry. It is easy to become suspicious. It is easy to stop caring. It is easy to protect ourselves by hardening our hearts.

But Lord, we ask You to keep us tender without making us foolish.

Keep us loving without making us naïve.

Keep us discerning without making us suspicious.

Keep us bold without making us harsh.

Keep us holy without making us proud.

Keep us watchful without making us fearful.

Keep us separated unto You without making us cold toward people.

Your Word declares:

Romans 12:9

"Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good."

Father, teach us love without dissimulation. Love without hypocrisy. Love without pretending. Love without manipulation. Love without compromise. Love that is real, holy, truthful, and clean.

Teach us to abhor what is evil and cleave to what is good. Do not let love become compromise. Do not let holiness become cruelty. Do not let discernment become pride. Do not let truth become harshness. Do not let compassion become agreement with sin.

Lord, give us the love of Christ.

Love that tells the truth.

Love that forgives.

Love that endures.

Love that serves.

Love that corrects with humility.

Love that covers without hiding sin.

Love that gives without boasting.

Love that prays for enemies.

Love that does not rejoice in iniquity.

Love that rejoices in the truth.

Your Word says:

1 Corinthians 13:4–7

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,"

"Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;"

"Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;"

"Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

Father, teach us this kind of love.

Long-suffering love.

Kind love.

Humble love.

Unselfish love.

Love that is not easily provoked.

Love that does not keep a record of evil.

Love that does not rejoice in iniquity.

Love that rejoices in truth.

Love that bears, believes, hopes, and endures.

Lord, where our love has become impatient, make it patient again.

Where our love has become sharp, make it kind again.

Where our love has become prideful, make it humble again.

Where our love has become selfish, make it serving again.

Where our love has become easily provoked, make it steady again.

Where our love has become suspicious, make it pure again.

Where our love has become weary, strengthen it again.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to baptize our hearts again in holy love. Not emotional love only. Not sentimental love only. Not performative love. Not selective love. Not love that loves only when it is easy. Give us love that comes from abiding in You.

Your Word declares:

John 15:9–10

"As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My love."

"If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love..."

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to continue in Your love. Teach us to abide in Your love. Teach us that love and obedience belong together. Teach us that love is not separated from Your commandments. Teach us that staying in love means staying in You.

Father, help us not confuse love with approval of everything. Help us not confuse love with silence. Help us not confuse love with fear of confrontation. Help us not confuse love with allowing darkness to go unchallenged.

But also help us not confuse truth with meanness. Help us not confuse boldness with bitterness. Help us not confuse correction with condemnation. Help us not confuse discernment with despising people.

Lord, keep us balanced in Christ.

Keep us rooted in truth and burning in love.

Keep us sober and compassionate.

Keep us watchful and tender.

Keep us firm and gentle.

Keep us holy and humble.

Father, we pray that the love of God would be shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

Your Word says:

Romans 5:5

"...the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

Holy Spirit, shed the love of God abroad in our hearts. Fill places that have dried up. Fill places that have grown cold. Fill places that have been wounded. Fill places that have been disappointed. Fill places that have been guarded. Fill places that have been exhausted.

Let the love of God flow again.

Let compassion flow again.

Let mercy flow again.

Let forgiveness flow again.

Let prayer flow again.

Let tears flow again where our hearts have become numb.

Let worship flow again where our hearts have become heavy.

Let fire flow again where our hearts have become cold.

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for endurance. You said that he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. So Father, help us endure in love. Help us endure in truth. Help us endure in holiness. Help us endure in prayer. Help us endure in obedience. Help us endure in faith.

Do not let our love burn hot for a moment and then fade away.

Do not let us start strong and finish cold.

Do not let us be passionate in public and empty in private.

Do not let us serve while secretly becoming hard.

Do not let us pray while secretly becoming bitter.

Do not let us preach truth while losing compassion.

Do not let us speak about love while refusing to walk in it.

Your Word declares:

Galatians 6:9

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Father, keep us from fainting. Keep us from weariness that turns into coldness. Keep us from disappointment that turns into distance. Keep us from delayed harvest that turns into unbelief. Keep us from serving so long that we forget to abide.

Strengthen us in well doing.

Strengthen us in loving well.

Strengthen us in forgiving well.

Strengthen us in speaking truth well.

Strengthen us in serving well.

Strengthen us in enduring well.

Lord, we pray for every person who has been hurt by people, disappointed by people, betrayed by people, ignored by people, misunderstood by people, or mistreated by people. Do not let pain freeze their love. Do not let betrayal harden their heart. Do not let disappointment steal their tenderness. Do not let offense become a prison.

Your Word says:

Ephesians 4:31–32

"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Father, remove bitterness. Remove wrath. Remove anger. Remove clamour. Remove evil speaking. Remove malice. Make us kind. Make us tenderhearted. Make us forgiving.

Lord Jesus Christ, remind us how much You have forgiven us. Remind us how patient You have been with us. Remind us how merciful You have been toward us. Remind us how You loved us when we did not deserve it.

Let forgiven people become forgiving people.

Let loved people become loving people.

Let restored people become restoring people.

Let delivered people become compassionate people.

Father, keep our love hot in our homes. Keep our love hot in our families. Keep our love hot in our churches. Keep our love hot in our communities. Keep our love hot toward the lost. Keep our love hot toward the weary. Keep our love hot toward those who are difficult. Keep our love hot toward those who are different. Keep our love hot toward those who need truth and grace.

Lord Jesus Christ, we do not want the fire of love to go out.

We do not want our hearts to become cold while our mouths still say the right things.

We do not want our hands to serve while our hearts are far from You.

We do not want to become religious and loveless.

We do not want to become correct but cold.

We do not want to become informed but unkind.

We do not want to become watchful but hard.

Father, keep us close to You.

Keep us near Your heart.

Keep us filled with Your Spirit.

Keep us rooted in Your Word.

Keep us covered by Your blood.

Keep us burning with holy love.

Your Word declares:

Jude 1:21

"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Father, teach us to keep ourselves in the love of God. Teach us to remain there. Teach us to return there. Teach us to live there. Teach us to look for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Today we declare:

Our love will not wax cold.

Our hearts will not harden.

Our compassion will not die.

Our forgiveness will not be stolen.

Our obedience will not weaken.

Our truth will not lose love.

Our love will not lose truth.

Our fire will not go out.

We will abide in the love of Christ.

We will endure unto the end.

We will love because He first loved us.

Lord Jesus Christ, keep our love hot when wickedness abounds.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, as we continue in prayer, we ask You to bring this Word deeper into our own hearts. We have prayed for You to keep our love hot when wickedness abounds. Now we ask You to show us every place where love has already tried to cool inside of us.

Lord Jesus Christ, search us in the hidden places.

Search our hearts.

Search our thoughts.

Search our motives.

Search our memories.

Search our reactions.

Search our words.

Search our silence.

Search the places where we still smile, but our love has grown tired.

Search the places where we still serve, but our compassion has weakened.

Search the places where we still pray, but our tenderness has become guarded.

Search the places where we still know the truth, but our hearts are not burning like they used to burn.

Your Word declares:

Lamentations 3:40

"Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord."

Father, help us search and try our ways. Help us not blame the times without examining our own hearts. Help us not only talk about wickedness in the world while ignoring coldness within ourselves.

Lord, turn us again to You.

Turn our hearts again.

Turn our love again.

Turn our compassion again.

Turn our tenderness again.

Turn our mercy again.

Turn our obedience again.

Turn our fire again.

Lord Jesus Christ, we confess that coldness can come quietly. It does not always arrive all at once. Sometimes love cools little by little.

A disappointment here.

A betrayal there.

A delayed answer.

A painful conversation.

A repeated burden.

A wound that was never healed.

A prayer that seemed unanswered.

A person who kept hurting us.

A season that wore us down.

A pressure that never seemed to lift.

Father, show us where we have adjusted to coldness and called it wisdom. Show us where we have called guardedness discernment. Show us where we have called numbness maturity. Show us where we have called bitterness truth. Show us where we have called withdrawal peace.

Your Word says:

Proverbs 4:23

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Father, help us keep our hearts with all diligence. Not casually. Not occasionally. Not only when we feel emotional. Help us keep our hearts carefully, prayerfully, honestly, and humbly before You.

Guard our hearts from bitterness.

Guard our hearts from offense.

Guard our hearts from resentment.

Guard our hearts from cynicism.

Guard our hearts from numbness.

Guard our hearts from pride.

Guard our hearts from unbelief.

Guard our hearts from compassion fatigue.

Guard our hearts from spiritual exhaustion.

Lord, where offense has entered, remove it.

Where bitterness has taken root, pull it up.

Where resentment has settled, cleanse it.

Where disappointment has hardened us, soften us.

Where fear has closed us off, open us again.

Where grief has made us numb, comfort us.

Where weariness has made us sharp, restore us.

Where injustice has made us angry, give us righteous wisdom without hatred.

Father, Your Word warns us:

Hebrews 12:15

"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;"

Lord, do not let any root of bitterness spring up in us. Do not let bitterness trouble us. Do not let bitterness defile our homes, our relationships, our service, our leadership, our prayers, or our witness.

Pull up the root.

Not just the leaves.

Not just the words.

Not just the behaviors.

Not just the reactions.

Pull up the root.

Pull up the old wound.

Pull up the hidden offense.

Pull up the quiet resentment.

Pull up the private anger.

Pull up the pain we have carried so long that we started calling it normal.

Father, we bring You the people who hurt us.

We bring You the people who disappointed us.

We bring You the people who betrayed us.

We bring You the people who ignored us.

We bring You the people who misunderstood us.

We bring You the people who used us.

We bring You the people who rejected us.

We bring You the people who spoke against us.

We bring You the people who did not apologize.

We bring You the situations that still sting when we remember them.

Lord Jesus Christ, we do not bring them to You so we can rehearse the hurt. We bring them to You so we can be healed. We bring them to You so we can be free. We bring them to You so our love does not wax cold.

Your Word declares:

Matthew 5:44

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you..."

"...and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

Lord, this is not easy in the flesh. This is not natural to our old nature. This requires the Spirit of God. So we ask You to help us love our enemies. Help us bless those who curse us. Help us pray for those who have despitefully used us.

Not because what they did was right.

Not because pain does not matter.

Not because truth should be ignored.

Not because boundaries are wrong.

But because we belong to Jesus Christ, and we refuse to let wickedness make our love cold.

Father, teach us forgiveness that is holy and wise.

Forgiveness that releases revenge.

Forgiveness that refuses bitterness.

Forgiveness that trusts You with justice.

Forgiveness that does not require us to stay in harm’s way.

Forgiveness that keeps our hearts free.

Forgiveness that keeps our love alive.

Lord, we ask You to heal the wounded places where love has been replaced by self-protection. We know there is wisdom in boundaries, but we also know there is danger in a locked heart.

Teach us the difference.

Teach us how to have boundaries without bitterness.

Teach us how to have discernment without suspicion.

Teach us how to have caution without coldness.

Teach us how to have wisdom without withdrawal from love.

Teach us how to be sober without being hard.

Teach us how to be watchful without being fearful.

Teach us how to be protected without being loveless.

Your Word says:

Ezekiel 36:26

"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you..."

"...and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."

Father, take away the stony heart.

Take away the hardened heart.

Take away the cold heart.

Take away the guarded heart that refuses to feel.

Take away the proud heart that refuses correction.

Take away the wounded heart that refuses to trust You.

Give us a heart of flesh.

A heart that can love.

A heart that can forgive.

A heart that can feel compassion.

A heart that can repent.

A heart that can obey.

A heart that can be moved by the Holy Spirit.

A heart that can burn again.

Lord Jesus Christ, where we have become numb, awaken us. Where we have become indifferent, revive us. Where we have become weary in love, strengthen us. Where we have become selective in compassion, correct us.

Your Word declares:

1 John 4:19

"We love Him, because He first loved us."

Father, bring us back to first love. Bring us back to the love You showed us first. Before we loved You, You loved us. Before we knew how to obey, You drew us. Before we had it all together, You had mercy on us.

Remind us of the cross.

Remind us of the blood.

Remind us of grace.

Remind us of mercy.

Remind us of forgiveness.

Remind us of how patiently You loved us.

Remind us of how kindly You corrected us.

Remind us of how faithfully You kept us.

Lord Jesus Christ, let our love be born again from Your love. Let us not try to love people from an empty place. Let us not try to serve from a bitter place. Let us not try to forgive from human strength alone.

Fill us again.

Your Word says:

1 John 4:7–8

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."

"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

Father, let us love one another because love is of God. Let our love prove that we know You. Let our love reveal that we have been with You. Let our love be holy, truthful, enduring, and real.

Lord, examine how we love the people closest to us.

Examine how we love our family.

Examine how we love our friends.

Examine how we love our church family.

Examine how we love people who disagree with us.

Examine how we love people who disappoint us.

Examine how we love people who are difficult.

Examine how we love people who cannot give anything back.

Examine how we love people who are not like us.

Father, do not let our love only be easy love. Do not let our love only be public love. Do not let our love only be convenient love. Do not let our love only be love for those who affirm us.

Give us Christlike love.

Give us crucified love.

Give us enduring love.

Give us truthful love.

Give us merciful love.

Give us holy love.

Lord, we repent for coldness that we have justified.

We repent for unforgiveness that we have protected.

We repent for bitterness that we have explained away.

We repent for harshness that we called truth.

We repent for cruelty that we called boldness.

We repent for pride that we called discernment.

We repent for indifference that we called peace.

We repent for withholding love as punishment.

We repent for speaking truth without love.

We repent for showing love without truth.

Father, wash us.

Cleanse us.

Correct us.

Heal us.

Restore us.

Set us on fire again.

Your Word declares:

Revelation 2:4–5

"Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love."

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works..."

Father, where we have left our first love, call us back. Help us remember. Help us repent. Help us return. Help us do the first works again.

Return us to prayer.

Return us to worship.

Return us to tenderness.

Return us to obedience.

Return us to compassion.

Return us to humility.

Return us to the fear of the Lord.

Return us to love that burns because it abides in Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to restore holy affection in us. Restore love for You. Restore love for Your Word. Restore love for prayer. Restore love for righteousness. Restore love for the lost. Restore love for the wounded. Restore love for the Body of Christ. Restore love for the people You have assigned us to serve.

Father, keep us from compassion fatigue. Sometimes we see so much need, so much pain, so much wickedness, so much confusion, so much grief, and so much pressure that our hearts want to shut down.

But Lord, do not let our hearts shut down.

Teach us how to rest without going cold.

Teach us how to recover without withdrawing love.

Teach us how to set boundaries without losing compassion.

Teach us how to pour out and be refilled.

Teach us how to serve from overflow and not from emptiness.

Your Word says:

2 Thessalonians 3:5

"And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ."

Father, direct our hearts into the love of God. Not into fear. Not into bitterness. Not into pride. Not into numbness. Not into emotional exhaustion. Direct our hearts into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Direct our hearts daily.

Direct our hearts when we are tired.

Direct our hearts when people are difficult.

Direct our hearts when the news is heavy.

Direct our hearts when wickedness is increasing.

Direct our hearts when our patience is being tested.

Direct our hearts when we are tempted to stop caring.

Lord Jesus Christ, keep our love hot in the secret place first. Before anyone sees us serve, keep us burning before You. Before anyone hears us speak, keep us burning before You. Before anyone receives from us, keep us burning before You.

Let our love not be performance.

Let our love not be image.

Let our love not be habit.

Let our love not be obligation only.

Let our love be real.

Let our love be alive.

Let our love be fed by Your presence.

Let our love be strengthened by Your Word.

Let our love be sustained by the Holy Spirit.

Father, today we bring You our hearts again.

Every wounded place.

Every tired place.

Every numb place.

Every bitter place.

Every offended place.

Every disappointed place.

Every guarded place.

Every cold place.

Every place where love has tried to die.

Breathe on us again.

Heal us again.

Warm us again.

Tenderize us again.

Revive us again.

Set us ablaze again.

We declare today:

Our hearts will not stay cold.

Our love will not be ruled by offense.

Our compassion will not be buried under disappointment.

Our forgiveness will not be blocked by pride.

Our tenderness will not be stolen by wickedness.

Our boundaries will not become bitterness.

Our discernment will not become suspicion.

Our truth will not become cruelty.

Our love will not become compromise.

We will return to first love.

We will keep ourselves in the love of God.

We will let the Holy Spirit shed the love of God abroad in our hearts.

We will forgive as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven us.

We will endure in love.

We will burn again.

Lord Jesus Christ, keep our love hot when wickedness abounds.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, now that we have prayed for You to search our hearts, heal offense, remove bitterness, restore tenderness, and keep our love burning in the hidden places, we ask You to let that same holy love move through us into every place You have assigned us to stand.

Lord Jesus Christ, do not let our love stop with emotion.

Let our love become obedience.

Let our love become service.

Let our love become forgiveness.

Let our love become patience.

Let our love become truth.

Let our love become mercy.

Let our love become prayer.

Let our love become action.

Father, let the love You restore in us flow through us to our homes, our families, our churches, our communities, the lost, the wounded, the weary, and even those who have been difficult to love.

Your Word declares:

John 13:34–35

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

"By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to love as You have loved us. Let our love be evidence that we belong to You. Let people not only hear us say we are disciples, but let them see the love of Christ in how we live, speak, serve, forgive, and respond.

Father, we pray for our homes. Let our homes become places where love stays hot even when pressure is present. Let our homes not be ruled by coldness, silence, anger, pride, sarcasm, resentment, or emotional distance.

Let love return to our homes.

Let patience return to our homes.

Let tenderness return to our homes.

Let forgiveness return to our homes.

Let prayer return to our homes.

Let honor return to our homes.

Let kindness return to our homes.

Let the presence of Jesus Christ be welcomed in our homes.

Lord, teach us how to love our families well. Sometimes the people closest to us receive the least patience from us. Sometimes strangers see our kindness while our own homes receive our frustration. Sometimes we speak gently in public and sharply in private.

Father, correct us.

Teach us how to love at home first.

Teach us how to serve at home first.

Teach us how to forgive at home first.

Teach us how to be patient at home first.

Teach us how to listen at home first.

Teach us how to honor You in the place where we are most familiar.

Your Word says:

Colossians 3:12–14

"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;"

"Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another..."

"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness."

Father, help us put on mercy. Help us put on kindness. Help us put on humility. Help us put on meekness. Help us put on longsuffering. Help us forbear one another. Help us forgive one another. Above all, help us put on charity.

Let love be the bond that holds families together.

Let love be the bond that helps households heal.

Let love be the bond that gives room for repentance.

Let love be the bond that creates space for restoration.

Let love be the bond that covers without hiding truth.

Lord, we pray for marriages. Keep love hot between husbands and wives. Where love has cooled into routine, revive it. Where affection has been buried under stress, uncover it. Where words have become sharp, soften them. Where disappointment has created distance, heal it. Where unforgiveness has settled, remove it.

Teach husbands and wives to love with patience, humility, truth, forgiveness, and honor.

Teach them to listen again.

Teach them to pray again.

Teach them to serve again.

Teach them to speak life again.

Teach them to fight for the covenant and not against each other.

Father, we pray for parents, children, siblings, extended family, and blended families. Let love be restored where families have been wounded. Let humility come where pride has ruled. Let forgiveness come where offense has lingered. Let wisdom come where communication has broken down.

Lord, heal generational coldness.

Heal generational bitterness.

Heal generational silence.

Heal generational anger.

Heal generational rejection.

Heal generational dishonor.

Heal generational patterns where love was withheld, weaponized, or never properly shown.

Your Word declares:

Malachi 4:6

"And He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers..."

Father, turn hearts in families. Turn the hearts of parents to children. Turn the hearts of children to parents. Turn the hearts of siblings toward one another. Turn the hearts of families back toward love, honor, repentance, truth, and peace.

Lord, we pray for the lonely. We pray for those who have no one checking on them. We pray for those who feel forgotten. We pray for those whose hearts have grown cold because life has been hard and people have been absent.

Let them encounter the love of God.

Let them encounter the care of the Body of Christ.

Let them encounter kindness that reminds them they are not invisible.

Father, make us sensitive to the lonely.

Make us sensitive to widows.

Make us sensitive to elders.

Make us sensitive to the fatherless.

Make us sensitive to single parents.

Make us sensitive to caregivers.

Make us sensitive to those who live alone.

Make us sensitive to those who serve everyone else but are rarely served.

Your Word says:

1 John 3:17–18

"But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him..."

"...how dwelleth the love of God in him?"

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

Father, do not let us love only in word or in tongue. Let us love in deed and in truth. Let compassion move us. Let mercy move us. Let generosity move us. Let prayer move us. Let service move us.

Show us who needs a call.

Show us who needs a visit.

Show us who needs prayer.

Show us who needs encouragement.

Show us who needs food.

Show us who needs help.

Show us who needs a listening ear.

Show us who needs to know they are loved.

Lord, we pray for our churches. Let the Church be known for holy love. Let the Church not grow cold while wickedness abounds. Let the Church not become so focused on being right that we forget to love, and do not let us become so focused on being accepted that we forget the truth.

Keep the Church full of truth and love.

Keep the Church full of holiness and mercy.

Keep the Church full of conviction and compassion.

Keep the Church full of discernment and humility.

Keep the Church full of prayer and service.

Keep the Church full of fire and tenderness.

Your Word declares:

Ephesians 4:15–16

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

"From whom the whole body fitly joined together..."

Father, teach the Church to speak the truth in love. Let us not speak truth without love. Let us not show love without truth. Let us grow up into Christ in all things.

Let the Body of Christ be fitly joined together.

Let love heal divisions.

Let humility repair relationships.

Let forgiveness restore fellowship.

Let prayer cover the wounded.

Let truth correct what is out of order.

Let compassion strengthen what is weak.

Let every joint supply.

Lord, we pray for pastors, leaders, ministers, elders, deacons, teachers, intercessors, worship leaders, and servants in the Church. Do not let their love wax cold under the weight of responsibility. Do not let constant need, criticism, disappointment, pressure, or spiritual warfare cause them to lose tenderness.

Keep leaders burning in love for You.

Keep leaders burning in love for Your Word.

Keep leaders burning in love for Your people.

Keep leaders burning in love for the lost.

Keep leaders burning in humility.

Keep leaders burning in prayer.

Keep leaders burning without burning out.

Father, we pray for those who have been wounded by the Church. We pray for those who still love Jesus but are carrying pain from leaders, congregations, betrayal, rejection, misuse, hypocrisy, or spiritual disappointment.

Lord, heal them.

Do not let church hurt become hatred.

Do not let disappointment become distance from You.

Do not let pain become permanent coldness.

Do not let wounds make them reject the Body of Christ completely.

Meet them with truth.

Meet them with healing.

Meet them with safe fellowship.

Meet them with wise counsel.

Meet them with the love of Christ.

Your Word says:

Psalm 147:3

"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."

Father, heal the broken in heart. Bind up their wounds. Heal wounds from family. Heal wounds from church. Heal wounds from friendship. Heal wounds from rejection. Heal wounds from betrayal. Heal wounds from abandonment. Heal wounds from words that cut deeply.

Bind up every wound that has tried to make love grow cold.

Lord, we pray for our communities. Let Your people carry hot love into cold places. Let Your people carry light into dark places. Let Your people carry compassion into hard places. Let Your people carry truth into confused places.

Let our communities encounter the love of Jesus Christ through us.

Let neighborhoods see love.

Let schools see love.

Let workplaces see love.

Let senior centers see love.

Let hospitals see love.

Let shelters see love.

Let families in crisis see love.

Let people under pressure see love.

Let those who feel hopeless see love.

Father, show us how to love our neighbor.

Your Word declares:

Mark 12:30–31

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength..."

"And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Lord, teach us to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Then teach us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Let our love for You overflow into how we treat people.

Help us love the neighbor who looks like us and the neighbor who does not.

Help us love the neighbor who agrees with us and the neighbor who does not.

Help us love the neighbor who is easy and the neighbor who is difficult.

Help us love the neighbor who is clean and the neighbor who is broken.

Help us love the neighbor who is seen and the neighbor who is overlooked.

Father, give us eyes to see people the way You see them. Not as interruptions. Not as burdens. Not as categories. Not as problems. Not as labels. But as souls.

Souls You love.

Souls Jesus died for.

Souls who need truth.

Souls who need mercy.

Souls who need deliverance.

Souls who need hope.

Souls who need prayer.

Souls who need the gospel.

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for the lost. Do not let our love grow cold toward those who do not know You. Do not let us become so offended by sin that we stop caring about souls. Do not let us become so disgusted by wickedness that we forget we were once lost too.

Your Word says:

Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Father, remind us that Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. Let that truth humble us. Let that mercy shape us. Let that love flow through us.

Give us love for the lost.

Give us burden for souls.

Give us compassion for those in darkness.

Give us courage to speak truth.

Give us wisdom to share the gospel.

Give us patience to pray.

Give us endurance to keep loving without compromising.

Lord, we pray for enemies, difficult people, persecutors, mockers, accusers, and those who oppose truth. Keep our hearts clean. Keep our love hot. Keep our discernment sharp. Keep our boundaries wise. Keep our prayers pure.

Father, teach us how to love enemies without joining their wickedness. Teach us how to pray for those who persecute without pretending evil is good. Teach us how to bless without enabling. Teach us how to forgive without becoming foolish.

Your Word declares:

Luke 6:27–28

"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,"

"Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."

Lord, help us obey this Word. This kind of love must come from You. This kind of love must be empowered by the Holy Spirit. This kind of love must be rooted in the cross.

We cannot love enemies in our own strength.

We cannot bless those who curse us in our own strength.

We cannot pray for those who use us in our own strength.

So Father, give us supernatural love.

Give us Spirit-filled love.

Give us cross-shaped love.

Give us holy love.

Give us love that refuses bitterness.

Give us love that still tells the truth.

Lord, we pray for the wounded and the weary. Let them not encounter cold saints. Let them not encounter religious harshness. Let them not encounter people who quote Scripture but have no compassion. Let them not encounter people who are too busy, too proud, too distracted, or too cold to care.

Let them encounter Jesus in us.

Let them encounter patience.

Let them encounter wisdom.

Let them encounter truth.

Let them encounter mercy.

Let them encounter prayer.

Let them encounter help.

Let them encounter hope.

Your Word says:

Matthew 25:35–36

"For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in:"

"Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me."

Father, teach us to see You in the least of these. Teach us to love in practical ways. Teach us to feed, clothe, visit, welcome, serve, pray, and care. Let our love have hands. Let our love have feet. Let our love have sacrifice. Let our love have follow-through.

Lord, we pray for people under financial pressure. Help us love them without judgment.

We pray for people battling sickness. Help us love them with compassion.

We pray for people in grief. Help us love them with tenderness.

We pray for people in prison or bondage. Help us love them with hope and truth.

We pray for people who are ashamed. Help us love them toward restoration.

We pray for people who have fallen. Help us love them toward repentance.

We pray for people who are confused. Help us love them toward truth.

Father, keep our love hot toward the poor, the hurting, the broken, the vulnerable, the overlooked, the rejected, and the forgotten.

Do not let wickedness make us selfish.

Do not let pressure make us self-centered.

Do not let fear make us stingy.

Do not let offense make us unavailable.

Do not let weariness make us blind to need.

Your Word declares:

1 Peter 4:8–10

"And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins."

"Use hospitality one to another without grudging."

"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another..."

Father, give us fervent charity. Not cold charity. Not forced charity. Not grudging charity. Fervent charity. Burning love. Active love. Hospitable love. Serving love. Ministering love.

Help every person use the gift they have received to minister to others.

Let singers minister in love.

Let teachers minister in love.

Let intercessors minister in love.

Let givers minister in love.

Let encouragers minister in love.

Let leaders minister in love.

Let servants minister in love.

Let helpers minister in love.

Let every gift be wrapped in love.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to make The Faith and Fitness Foundation a ministry of hot love, holy truth, practical compassion, and faithful endurance. Let this prayer initiative not only stir voices, but stir hearts to love, serve, forgive, help, encourage, and obey.

Let 10 Days Ablaze produce burning love.

Burning love for God.

Burning love for truth.

Burning love for souls.

Burning love for families.

Burning love for the Body of Christ.

Burning love for the wounded.

Burning love for the weary.

Burning love that endures when wickedness abounds.

Father, we declare today:

Our homes will be marked by love.

Our families will be covered in love.

Our churches will speak truth in love.

Our communities will encounter the love of Christ.

The wounded will be healed by love.

The lonely will be seen by love.

The poor will be served by love.

The lost will be pursued by love.

The weary will be strengthened by love.

Enemies will be prayed for in love.

Neighbors will be served in love.

The Body of Christ will be joined together in love.

We will not grow cold.

We will not stop caring.

We will not let wickedness steal our compassion.

We will not let offense steal our obedience.

We will not let fear steal our mercy.

We will not let darkness put out the fire of holy love.

Lord Jesus Christ, keep our love hot when wickedness abounds.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, we have prayed for You to keep our love hot when wickedness abounds. We have prayed for You to search our hearts, heal offense, remove bitterness, restore tenderness, and keep love burning in the hidden places. We have prayed for holy love to move through our homes, our families, our churches, our communities, our neighbors, our enemies, the lost, the wounded, and the weary.

Now, Father, we ask You to seal this fourth day of 10 Days Ablaze with holy fire, enduring love, clean hearts, strong truth, pure compassion, and steadfast obedience.

Lord Jesus Christ, do not let this prayer fall to the ground.

Do not let these words pass over us without changing us.

Do not let us hear about love and remain cold.

Do not let us pray about forgiveness and remain offended.

Do not let us speak about compassion and remain unmoved.

Do not let us confess truth while our hearts remain hard.

Let this Word go deep.

Let this prayer go deep.

Let this searching go deep.

Let this healing go deep.

Let this fire go deep.

Your Word declares:

1 Peter 1:22

"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren..."

"...see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:"

Father, purify our souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit. Give us unfeigned love. Not fake love. Not surface love. Not convenient love. Not performative love. Give us pure-hearted, fervent love.

Love that has been purified by truth.

Love that has been strengthened by obedience.

Love that has been healed by mercy.

Love that has been cleansed by repentance.

Love that has been set on fire by the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus Christ, let our love be fervent. Let it be burning. Let it be alive. Let it be steady. Let it be holy. Let it be truthful. Let it be merciful. Let it be enduring.

Father, we ask You to seal our hearts against coldness.

Seal our hearts against bitterness.

Seal our hearts against offense.

Seal our hearts against hatred.

Seal our hearts against numbness.

Seal our hearts against spiritual exhaustion.

Seal our hearts against compassion fatigue.

Seal our hearts against loveless religion.

Seal our hearts against truth without tenderness.

Seal our hearts against love without obedience.

Your Word says:

2 Timothy 1:6

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee..."

Father, stir up the gift of God in us. Stir up holy love. Stir up prayer. Stir up compassion. Stir up forgiveness. Stir up mercy. Stir up courage. Stir up endurance. Stir up service. Stir up obedience. Stir up the fire You placed in us.

Where the fire has gotten low, stir it again.

Where love has gotten tired, stir it again.

Where compassion has gotten buried, stir it again.

Where prayer has gotten weak, stir it again.

Where forgiveness has gotten difficult, stir it again.

Where obedience has gotten costly, stir it again.

Lord, fan the flame.

Breathe on the embers.

Restore the altar.

Rekindle the love.

Revive the heart.

Renew the mind.

Strengthen the spirit.

Father, we ask You to keep the altar of our hearts burning.

Your Word declares:

Leviticus 6:13

"The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out."

Lord, let the fire never go out.

Let love never go out.

Let prayer never go out.

Let worship never go out.

Let compassion never go out.

Let truth never go out.

Let obedience never go out.

Let mercy never go out.

Let holy fire never go out.

Father, in a world where wickedness abounds, let the altar still burn. In a world where many hearts grow cold, let our hearts still burn. In a world where people are offended, divided, angry, afraid, and deceived, let the fire of God still burn in us.

Burn away bitterness.

Burn away pride.

Burn away hypocrisy.

Burn away unforgiveness.

Burn away selfishness.

Burn away indifference.

Burn away hidden coldness.

Burn away everything that resists the love of Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to keep us abiding in You. We know we cannot keep our love hot apart from You. We cannot endure in our own strength. We cannot forgive in our own power. We cannot love enemies in our own flesh. We cannot stay tender in wicked times without abiding in You.

Your Word says:

John 15:5

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit..."

"...for without Me ye can do nothing."

Lord Jesus Christ, keep us abiding.

Keep us connected to You.

Keep us drawing life from You.

Keep us drawing love from You.

Keep us drawing patience from You.

Keep us drawing wisdom from You.

Keep us drawing strength from You.

Keep us drawing mercy from You.

Without You, we can do nothing.

Without You, our love runs dry.

Without You, our compassion weakens.

Without You, our forgiveness fails.

Without You, our service becomes performance.

Without You, our truth becomes harsh.

Without You, our endurance collapses.

So keep us in You.

Keep us close.

Keep us surrendered.

Keep us obedient.

Keep us humble.

Keep us filled with the Holy Spirit.

Father, we pray for endurance. Your Word says that because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, but he that shall endure unto the end shall be saved.

So today, we ask for enduring love.

Love that endures pressure.

Love that endures offense.

Love that endures delay.

Love that endures disappointment.

Love that endures misunderstanding.

Love that endures persecution.

Love that endures evil without becoming evil.

Love that endures wickedness without becoming cold.

Love that endures truth without compromise.

Love that endures to the end.

Your Word declares:

Hebrews 10:36

"For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

Father, give us patience. Give us endurance. Give us steadfastness. Help us continue after we have done Your will. Help us not quit loving. Help us not quit forgiving. Help us not quit praying. Help us not quit serving. Help us not quit believing. Help us not quit obeying.

When love is costly, help us endure.

When mercy is misunderstood, help us endure.

When truth is resisted, help us endure.

When people are difficult, help us endure.

When the world is dark, help us endure.

When wickedness is loud, help us endure.

When our hearts feel tired, help us endure.

Lord Jesus Christ, seal us in first love. Bring us back again and again to the place where our hearts burn for You. Let us not be satisfied with religious motion, spiritual language, ministry activity, or outward service if our hearts are drifting from love.

Your Word declares:

Mark 12:30

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength..."

Father, let us love You with all.

All our heart.

All our soul.

All our mind.

All our strength.

Not leftover love.

Not divided love.

Not distracted love.

Not cold love.

Not convenient love.

All our love.

Lord Jesus Christ, be first again. Be central again. Be everything again. Be our desire, our treasure, our joy, our peace, our truth, our salvation, our shepherd, our refuge, our righteousness, and our Lord.

Let love for You reorder every other love.

Let love for You purify every other love.

Let love for You strengthen every other love.

Let love for You correct every other love.

Let love for You keep us from idolatry, compromise, fear, pride, and coldness.

Father, we ask You to seal our homes in love. Let every person connected to this prayer journey carry love back into their homes. Let every household be touched by the warmth of Christ. Let hard conversations be covered in grace. Let apologies be released. Let forgiveness move. Let humility rise. Let kindness return. Let prayer be restored.

Seal marriages in love.

Seal families in love.

Seal children in love.

Seal elders in love.

Seal caregivers in love.

Seal lonely hearts in love.

Seal wounded homes in love.

Seal divided families in love.

Your Word says:

1 Corinthians 16:14

"Let all your things be done with charity."

Father, let all our things be done with charity. Let our speaking be done with charity. Let our serving be done with charity. Let our correcting be done with charity. Let our leading be done with charity. Let our giving be done with charity. Let our praying be done with charity. Let our posting, texting, calling, teaching, helping, and responding be done with charity.

Let love govern all our things.

Lord, seal the Church in love. Let the Body of Christ not be cold, divided, suspicious, proud, performative, cruel, or indifferent. Let the Church be holy and loving, truthful and tender, discerning and humble, courageous and compassionate.

Let churches become places where love burns hot and truth stands strong.

Let pulpits burn with love.

Let prayer rooms burn with love.

Let worship burn with love.

Let teaching burn with love.

Let fellowship burn with love.

Let service burn with love.

Let correction burn with love.

Let outreach burn with love.

Father, raise up believers who are known by love.

Not known only by opinions.

Not known only by arguments.

Not known only by outrage.

Not known only by knowledge.

Not known only by platforms.

Not known only by gifts.

Let us be known by love.

Your Word declares:

1 John 3:14

"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren..."

Father, let love be evidence of life in us. Let love be evidence that we belong to You. Let love be evidence that we have passed from death unto life. Let love for the brethren remain hot, holy, humble, and sincere.

Lord, seal our witness to the lost. Let us not become cold toward sinners. Let us not become cruel toward the broken. Let us not become careless toward the confused. Let us not become proud toward those still bound. Let us not forget that we are saved by grace.

Give us gospel love.

Give us evangelistic love.

Give us intercessory love.

Give us patient love.

Give us truthful love.

Give us mercy-filled love.

Father, let our love carry the gospel with power. Let people see Jesus in our compassion, our conviction, our forgiveness, our service, our humility, and our endurance.

Lord, we pray again for those who are hard to love. We pray for enemies. We pray for accusers. We pray for mockers. We pray for those who oppose truth. We pray for those who have wounded us. We pray for those who are difficult, angry, proud, deceived, or bound.

Keep our hearts clean.

Keep our prayers pure.

Keep our boundaries wise.

Keep our love holy.

Keep our truth clear.

Keep our motives surrendered.

Father, let us not be overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Your Word declares:

Romans 12:21

"Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

Lord, do not let evil overcome us. Do not let wickedness change us into something You did not call us to be. Do not let darkness make us dark. Do not let cruelty make us cruel. Do not let hatred make us hateful. Do not let deception make us bitter. Do not let offense make us cold.

Teach us to overcome evil with good.

Good prayers.

Good works.

Good words.

Good mercy.

Good truth.

Good courage.

Good forgiveness.

Good obedience.

Good love.

Father, seal The Faith and Fitness Foundation in this fire. Let this ministry be known for holy love, truth, prayer, compassion, endurance, wellness, restoration, and Kingdom service. Let 10 Days Ablaze continue to carry the fire of Jesus Christ into homes, families, churches, communities, and hearts.

Do not let this be an event only.

Let it be a turning.

Let it be a cleansing.

Let it be a reviving.

Let it be a healing.

Let it be a strengthening.

Let it be a fire that continues after the ten days are complete.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to cover the remaining days of this prayer journey. Let Day One’s truth keep standing. Let Day Two’s covering and peace keep resting. Let Day Three’s hearing and wise speech keep guiding. Let Day Four’s holy love keep burning.

Let the days ahead build with power.

Let the prayers ahead go deeper.

Let the Word ahead come alive.

Let the people ahead be strengthened.

Let the Body ahead be edified.

Let Jesus Christ be glorified.

Father, today we seal every heart that has been searched. Seal every wound that has been touched. Seal every place where bitterness has been uprooted. Seal every place where love has been restored. Seal every place where compassion has been awakened. Seal every place where forgiveness has begun.

Do not let the enemy steal the seed.

Do not let offense return.

Do not let coldness creep back in.

Do not let wickedness put out the fire.

Do not let disappointment close the heart again.

Do not let weariness bury compassion again.

Do not let pride interrupt repentance.

Do not let fear interrupt love.

Your Word declares:

2 Thessalonians 3:5

"And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ."

Lord, direct our hearts into the love of God. Direct us again and again. Direct us when we are tired. Direct us when we are hurt. Direct us when we are tested. Direct us when wickedness abounds. Direct us when people are difficult. Direct us when pressure is high. Direct us into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Father, we declare today:

Our love will not wax cold.

Our hearts will not harden.

Our compassion will not be buried.

Our forgiveness will not be blocked.

Our mercy will not be stolen.

Our truth will not become cruelty.

Our love will not become compromise.

Our boundaries will not become bitterness.

Our discernment will not become suspicion.

Our service will not become performance.

Our fire will not go out.

Our homes will burn with love.

Our churches will burn with love.

Our communities will encounter love.

The wounded will be healed by love.

The weary will be strengthened by love.

The lost will be pursued by love.

Enemies will be prayed for in love.

The Body of Christ will be edified in love.

The Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified through love.

We will abide in Christ.

We will continue in His love.

We will keep ourselves in the love of God.

We will overcome evil with good.

We will endure unto the end.

Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for Day Four. Thank You for warning us before coldness takes over. Thank You for searching us before bitterness destroys us. Thank You for healing what wickedness tried to freeze. Thank You for restoring first love. Thank You for teaching us that truth and love belong together. Thank You for giving us holy fire that does not have to go out.

Seal this prayer in every heart. Seal this love in every home. Seal this fire in every family. Seal this compassion in every servant. Seal this truth in every church. Seal this mercy in every community. Seal this endurance in every believer.

Now seal this day in the mighty, holy, loving, truthful, fiery, merciful, and matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen. Amen. And Amen.
