Good morning, Faith and Fitness Family. This is Deacon Melvin Adams, and I thank God for the opportunity to lead us in Day Two of 10 Days Ablaze. Yesterday, we prayed for the Lord Jesus Christ to wake us up to stand in truth and not be shaken. Today, we continue in that same spirit, asking the Lord Jesus Christ to teach us to dwell under His covering and rest in His peace. Because when we are covered by God, we do not have to live uncovered by fear. When we are resting in Christ, we do not have to be ruled by what is going on around us.

Father God, we come before You this morning in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank You for another day. We thank You for another opportunity to pray. We thank You for another chance to draw near to You.

Lord, we thank You that You are not just a God we run to in trouble. You are the God we are called to dwell with daily. You are not only our help in crisis. You are our dwelling place, our covering, our refuge, and our peace.

Your Word declares:

Psalm 91:1–2

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust."

Father, teach us to dwell.

Teach us not to visit the secret place only when we are afraid.

Teach us not to come to You only when we need something.

Teach us not to treat prayer like an emergency exit.

Teach us to live under Your covering.

Teach us to remain in Your presence.

Teach us to abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Lord, we confess that too many times we carry things You never told us to carry. We carry worry. We carry pressure. We carry fear. We carry the weight of tomorrow. We carry burdens about our families, finances, health, work, children, future, and nation.

But Your Word says:

1 Peter 5:7

"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."

Father, today we cast our cares upon You. Not some of them. All of them. We cast the visible cares and the hidden cares. We cast the cares we talk about and the cares we keep quiet. We cast the old cares, the fresh cares, the heavy cares, and the cares we have gotten used to carrying.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to rest in You.

Not laziness.

Not denial.

Not carelessness.

But holy rest.

Trusting rest.

Obedient rest.

Covered rest.

Peace that comes from knowing You are Lord.

Your Word declares:

Matthew 11:28–30

"Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

"Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

"For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."

Lord Jesus Christ, we come to You. We come with our labor. We come with our heaviness. We come with our questions. We come with our pressure. We come with our families. We come with our finances. We come with our health. We come with our minds. We come with our souls.

Give us rest.

Rest in our minds.

Rest in our bodies.

Rest in our emotions.

Rest in our homes.

Rest in our decisions.

Rest in our spirits.

Father, we ask You to quiet every storm inside of us. Some storms are outside, but some storms are in the heart. Some storms are in the thoughts. Some storms are in the imagination. Some storms are in the emotions. Some storms are in the home.

But we thank You that the Lord Jesus Christ still speaks to storms.

Your Word says:

Mark 4:39

"And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still."

"And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

Lord Jesus Christ, speak peace over us.

Speak peace over every troubled heart.

Speak peace over every anxious mind.

Speak peace over every restless home.

Speak peace over every fearful decision.

Speak peace over every weary servant.

Speak peace over every family under pressure.

Speak peace over every person who has been smiling publicly but struggling privately.

Peace, be still.

Father, we do not ask for peace because the world is peaceful. We ask for peace because Jesus Christ is Lord. We do not ask for peace because everything is easy. We ask for peace because You are faithful.

Your Word declares:

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you."

"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Lord, give us Your peace. Not the world’s peace. Not temporary peace. Not peace that depends on money, circumstances, people, reports, politics, markets, weather, or headlines. Give us the peace of Christ.

Let not our hearts be troubled.

Let not our hearts be afraid.

Let not our homes be ruled by fear.

Let not our decisions be driven by panic.

Let not our mouths speak worry more than faith.

Father, we pray for every person who feels uncovered, exposed, vulnerable, tired, or uncertain. Remind them that You are still a refuge. You are still a fortress. You are still a shield. You are still a hiding place.

Your Word says:

Psalm 32:7

"Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance."

Father, be our hiding place. Preserve us from trouble. Surround us with songs of deliverance. Let worship rise where worry has been sitting. Let praise rise where pressure has been speaking. Let Scripture rise where fear has been loud.

Lord, teach us the difference between hiding from life and hiding in You.

We are not running from responsibility.

We are running to our Refuge.

We are not ignoring reality.

We are standing under divine covering.

We are not pretending storms do not exist.

We are trusting the One who rules over the storm.

Father, cover our homes today. Cover our children. Cover our elders. Cover our families. Cover our marriages. Cover our single households. Cover our widows. Cover the fatherless. Cover those who live alone. Cover those who are grieving. Cover those who are caregiving. Cover those who are trying to hold everything together.

Your Word declares:

Psalm 121:5–8

"The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand."

"The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night."

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul."

"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

Father, keep us. Preserve us. Shade us. Guard our going out and our coming in. Preserve our souls. Preserve our peace. Preserve our families. Preserve our minds.

Lord, cover us from evil.

Cover us from deception.

Cover us from fear.

Cover us from confusion.

Cover us from hidden traps.

Cover us from distractions.

Cover us from pride.

Cover us from unnecessary battles.

Cover us from decisions made outside of Your will.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to stay under the covering of obedience. Teach us that peace is not only something we feel. Peace is also connected to trusting You, following You, and remaining in You.

Your Word says:

Isaiah 26:3

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee."

Father, keep our minds stayed on You. Not stayed on fear. Not stayed on people. Not stayed on lack. Not stayed on what might happen. Not stayed on everything we cannot control. Keep our minds stayed on You.

We trust You.

We trust Your Word.

We trust Your timing.

We trust Your hand.

We trust Your covering.

We trust Your provision.

We trust Your protection.

We trust Your peace.

Lord, where we have stepped out from under covering, bring us back. Where we have moved too fast, slow us down. Where we have acted from fear, correct us. Where we have leaned on our own understanding, teach us to acknowledge You again.

Your Word declares:

Proverbs 3:5–6

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

"In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

Father, direct our paths. Direct our homes. Direct our schedules. Direct our steps. Direct our conversations. Direct our finances. Direct our plans. Direct our churches. Direct this prayer journey.

We ask You to lead us in peace.

Lead us in wisdom.

Lead us in truth.

Lead us in rest.

Lead us in obedience.

Lead us under covering.

Father, we declare today that we are not uncovered people. We are not abandoned people. We are not forgotten people. We are not defeated people. We are not people without help.

We belong to You.

We are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

We are kept by the power of God.

We are led by the Holy Spirit.

We are anchored in the Word.

We are hidden in Christ.

We are under the shadow of the Almighty.

We will dwell.

We will trust.

We will rest.

We will not fear.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, as we continue in prayer, we thank You that Your covering is not only for what happens around us, but also for what is happening within us.

Cover our hearts.

Cover our minds.

Cover our emotions.

Cover our thoughts.

Cover the places in us that are tired, troubled, stretched, or uncertain.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us how to rest in You when life still has responsibilities. Teach us how to be still in our souls even while we are still moving through our day. Teach us how to trust You when answers have not come yet, when pressure is still present, and when we do not know every step ahead.

Your Word declares:

Psalm 46:10

"Be still, and know that I am God..."

Father, teach us to be still.

Not still because nothing is happening.

Not still because everything is easy.

Not still because we have figured everything out.

But still because You are God.

Still because You are faithful.

Still because You are our refuge.

Still because You are our covering.

Still because You are Lord over what we understand and Lord over what we do not understand.

Lord, we confess that sometimes our bodies are sitting still, but our minds are running. Sometimes our mouths say we trust You, but our thoughts keep rehearsing fear. Sometimes we pray, but then we pick the burden back up again.

Father, help us release what we keep reclaiming.

Help us surrender what we keep trying to control.

Help us trust You with what we cannot fix, force, change, or carry.

Your Word says:

Philippians 4:6–7

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Father, keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Let the peace of God stand guard over our thinking. Let the peace of God stand guard over our emotions. Let the peace of God stand guard over our homes. Let the peace of God stand guard over every anxious place in us.

Lord, we bring You the things we cannot solve.

We bring You the things we cannot explain.

We bring You the things that keep circling in our minds.

We bring You the things that have been stealing our sleep.

We bring You the things that have been sitting heavy on our hearts.

We bring You every burden, every question, every concern, every bill, every diagnosis, every family matter, every unresolved conversation, every decision, and every hidden weight.

Father, we make our requests known unto You.

But we do not come in panic.

We come with thanksgiving.

Thank You for keeping us before.

Thank You for making a way before.

Thank You for covering us before.

Thank You for healing before.

Thank You for providing before.

Thank You for protecting before.

Thank You for giving peace before.

And because You have been faithful before, we trust You right now.

Lord Jesus Christ, cover our minds from torment. Cover our thoughts from confusion. Cover our imagination from fear. Cover our sleep from disturbance. Cover our dreams from darkness. Cover our hearts from despair.

Your Word declares:

2 Thessalonians 3:3

"But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."

Father, establish us and keep us from evil. Establish our minds in truth. Establish our hearts in peace. Establish our homes in prayer. Establish our faith in Christ. Establish our steps in obedience.

Keep us from evil.

Keep us from deception.

Keep us from fear.

Keep us from emotional decisions.

Keep us from unnecessary conflict.

Keep us from words we cannot take back.

Keep us from agreements that are not from You.

Keep us from doors You did not open.

Keep us from burdens You never assigned to us.

Lord, we ask You to bring our inner lives under Your covering. Let there be nothing in us that is left exposed to fear. Let there be nothing in us that remains uncovered by truth. Let there be nothing in us that continues to live outside of surrender.

Cover the wounded places.

Cover the disappointed places.

Cover the grieving places.

Cover the lonely places.

Cover the anxious places.

Cover the angry places.

Cover the places that are tired of waiting.

Cover the places that are trying to believe again.

Father, some people are strong for everybody else, but they need Your strength. Some people are the encouragers, but they need encouragement. Some people are praying for others, but they are carrying private burdens of their own.

Meet them today.

Strengthen them today.

Comfort them today.

Quiet their hearts today.

Remind them they are not alone.

Your Word says:

Psalm 34:18

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."

Father, draw near to the brokenhearted. Draw near to those who are grieving. Draw near to those who are weary. Draw near to those who feel overlooked. Draw near to those who have been faithful but tired. Draw near to those who are trying to keep going.

Let them feel the nearness of God.

Let them know the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Let them rest under Your shadow.

Let them breathe again.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us not to confuse peace with the absence of warfare. Teach us that peace can rule even while battles are present. Teach us that peace can stand even when circumstances are not finished changing.

Your Word declares:

Colossians 3:15

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts..."

Father, let Your peace rule.

Let peace rule over fear.

Let peace rule over anxiety.

Let peace rule over pressure.

Let peace rule over frustration.

Let peace rule over our reactions.

Let peace rule over our conversations.

Let peace rule over our homes.

Let peace rule over our decisions.

We do not want fear to rule.

We do not want worry to rule.

We do not want anger to rule.

We do not want offense to rule.

We do not want pressure to rule.

We want the peace of God to rule in our hearts.

Father, we pray for emotional steadiness. We pray for spiritual balance. We pray for a calm confidence that comes from trusting You. We pray for the kind of rest that cannot be explained by circumstances.

Give us peace that passes understanding.

Give us peace that interrupts panic.

Give us peace that settles the soul.

Give us peace that guards the mind.

Give us peace that quiets the home.

Give us peace that strengthens obedience.

Give us peace that helps us hear You clearly.

Lord, where there has been noise, bring stillness.

Where there has been heaviness, bring relief.

Where there has been fear, bring faith.

Where there has been confusion, bring clarity.

Where there has been striving, bring surrender.

Where there has been weariness, bring renewal.

Where there has been panic, bring peace.

Father, teach us how to rest without quitting. Teach us how to pause without giving up. Teach us how to trust without being passive. Teach us how to surrender without becoming careless.

We still have work to do.

We still have families to love.

We still have assignments to complete.

We still have prayers to pray.

We still have steps to take.

But we do not have to do any of it outside of Your peace.

Your Word says:

Exodus 33:14

"And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

Father, let Your presence go with us. Into our homes. Into our work. Into our churches. Into our decisions. Into our conversations. Into our responsibilities. Into the rest of this day. Into the rest of this 10 Days Ablaze journey.

Let Your presence go with us, and give us rest.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to dwell under Your covering and rest in Your peace. Let peace not be a moment we visit, but a place we learn to live. Let Your covering not be something we mention, but something we remain under.

We declare today:

Our hearts are covered.

Our minds are covered.

Our homes are covered.

Our families are covered.

Our steps are covered.

Our decisions are covered.

Our sleep is covered.

Our future is covered.

We cast our cares upon the Lord.

We receive the peace of Christ.

We dwell under the shadow of the Almighty.

We will not be ruled by fear.

We will not be driven by panic.

We will not be uncovered in our souls.

We will rest in the Lord.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, now that we have prayed for Your covering over our hearts, minds, emotions, homes, and inner lives, we ask You to let that same peace move through us into every place You have assigned us to stand.

Let the peace of Christ not stop with us.

Let it move through our families.

Let it move through our churches.

Let it move through our communities.

Let it move through our workplaces.

Let it move through our conversations.

Let it move through our decisions.

Let us become people who carry peace because we dwell under Your covering.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to be steady in unstable places. Teach us to be calm in anxious environments. Teach us to be prayerful when others are panicking. Teach us to be wise when confusion is spreading. Teach us to be faithful when pressure is rising.

Your Word declares:

Matthew 5:9

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

Father, make us peacemakers.

Not people who avoid truth.

Not people who ignore problems.

Not people who compromise righteousness.

But people who carry the peace of God with truth, humility, wisdom, and love.

Lord, let us not bring confusion into our homes. Let us not bring strife into our families. Let us not bring unnecessary heaviness into our churches. Let us not bring fear into conversations. Let us not stir up what You are trying to settle.

Help us speak with wisdom.

Help us listen with patience.

Help us respond with grace.

Help us lead with humility.

Help us correct with love.

Help us stand with truth.

Father, we pray for our families. Let our homes become places of covering and peace. Let every household represented on this prayer journey come under the shadow of the Almighty.

Where there has been arguing, bring peace.

Where there has been tension, bring understanding.

Where there has been silence, bring healthy communication.

Where there has been fear, bring faith.

Where there has been confusion, bring order.

Where there has been distance, bring healing.

Where there has been heaviness, bring joy.

Where there has been spiritual dryness, bring fresh prayer.

Your Word says:

Joshua 24:15

"...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Father, let our households serve the Lord. Let our homes not be ruled by the spirit of this age. Let our homes not be ruled by fear, division, disrespect, rebellion, bitterness, or unbelief.

Let Jesus Christ be honored in our homes.

Let prayer be welcomed in our homes.

Let Scripture be spoken in our homes.

Let love be practiced in our homes.

Let forgiveness be extended in our homes.

Let peace have authority in our homes.

Lord, we pray for marriages. Cover husbands and wives. Teach them to dwell under Your covering together. Teach them to speak with care, listen with humility, forgive with sincerity, and serve one another in love.

We pray for single households. Cover them with Your presence. Let them not feel forgotten, isolated, or uncovered. Let their homes be full of peace, purpose, prayer, wisdom, and strength.

We pray for widows, widowers, the fatherless, caregivers, elders, and those living alone. Cover them. Visit them with comfort. Send support where support is needed. Send provision where provision is needed. Send encouragement where encouragement is needed.

Father, we pray for our children, grandchildren, young adults, students, and future generations. Cover their minds. Cover their identity. Cover their friendships. Cover their decisions. Cover their bodies. Cover their hearts. Cover their purpose.

Do not let the world shape them more than Your Word forms them.

Do not let confusion speak louder than truth.

Do not let fear silence their faith.

Do not let pressure pull them out from under Your covering.

Your Word declares:

Isaiah 54:13

"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children."

Father, teach our children. Let great peace be upon our children. Let them know the voice of the Lord. Let them recognize truth. Let them reject darkness. Let them love righteousness. Let them walk in wisdom.

Lord, we pray for our churches. Let the Church dwell under Your covering. Let the Church rest in the peace of Christ. Let the Church not be driven by fear, performance, division, politics, popularity, or pressure.

Let the Church return to prayer.

Let the Church return to the Word.

Let the Church return to worship.

Let the Church return to holiness.

Let the Church return to love.

Let the Church return to the fear of the Lord.

Let the Church return to Jesus Christ.

Your Word says:

Isaiah 56:7

"...for Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."

Father, make Your house a house of prayer. Not a house of performance. Not a house of confusion. Not a house of entertainment only. Not a house of man’s agenda. Let Your house be a house of prayer.

We pray for pastors, ministers, elders, deacons, teachers, evangelists, intercessors, worship leaders, and every servant in the Body of Christ. Cover them under the blood of Jesus Christ. Strengthen them in the inner man. Give them peace in the middle of responsibility.

Keep them from burnout.

Keep them from pride.

Keep them from compromise.

Keep them from fear of man.

Keep them from hidden sin.

Keep them from discouragement.

Keep them from carrying burdens You never assigned to them.

Lord, give leaders the peace to obey You without being controlled by people. Give them the courage to preach truth. Give them the humility to repent. Give them the wisdom to lead. Give them the compassion to care. Give them the endurance to continue.

Your Word declares:

Hebrews 13:20–21

"Now the God of peace... Make you perfect in every good work to do His will..."

Father, You are the God of peace. Make us perfect in every good work to do Your will. Work in us that which is wellpleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for our workplaces, businesses, schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Let Your people carry peace into places where there is pressure. Let us not be people who add to the chaos. Let us be people who bring wisdom, prayer, integrity, calm, excellence, and truth.

Let us carry peace into meetings.

Let us carry peace into classrooms.

Let us carry peace into offices.

Let us carry peace into businesses.

Let us carry peace into neighborhoods.

Let us carry peace into difficult conversations.

Let us carry peace into places where people are tired, afraid, angry, divided, or confused.

Father, let us represent the Lord Jesus Christ well. Let people experience something different when they encounter Your people. Let them see patience where there could have been irritation. Let them see restraint where there could have been reaction. Let them see wisdom where there could have been foolishness. Let them see love where there could have been harshness.

Your Word says:

Romans 12:18

"If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Father, help us live peaceably as much as lieth in us. Help us do our part. Help us not feed unnecessary conflict. Help us not return evil for evil. Help us not allow offense to lead us. Help us not confuse peace with weakness or truth with cruelty.

Make us strong enough to be peaceful.

Make us humble enough to listen.

Make us wise enough to know when to speak.

Make us disciplined enough to know when to be silent.

Make us faithful enough to stand for righteousness.

Lord, we pray for our cities and communities. Cover our streets. Cover our neighborhoods. Cover our schools. Cover our churches. Cover our senior centers. Cover our community spaces. Cover our families. Cover those who serve, protect, teach, care, feed, lead, and help.

Let Your peace interrupt violence.

Let Your peace interrupt confusion.

Let Your peace interrupt despair.

Let Your peace interrupt division.

Let Your peace interrupt hopelessness.

Let Your peace interrupt fear.

Father, we ask for protection over the vulnerable. Protect children. Protect elders. Protect widows. Protect the fatherless. Protect those without stable housing. Protect those battling mental heaviness. Protect those under financial pressure. Protect those who feel forgotten.

Let Your people become carriers of help, not just carriers of words.

Show us where to serve.

Show us where to pray.

Show us where to give.

Show us where to listen.

Show us where to stand.

Show us where to be present.

Your Word declares:

Micah 6:8

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

Father, teach us to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Let our peace be active. Let our faith have feet. Let our prayers become obedience. Let our covering make us compassionate, not careless.

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Prince of Peace. Rule in our hearts. Rule in our homes. Rule in our churches. Rule in our communities. Rule in our decisions. Rule in how we treat people. Rule in how we respond to pressure.

Your Word says:

Isaiah 9:6

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given... and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Lord Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, reign over us.

Reign over our thoughts.

Reign over our emotions.

Reign over our families.

Reign over our churches.

Reign over our conversations.

Reign over our cities.

Reign over our nation.

Father, we do not want peace that only comforts us. We want peace that also commissions us. We want peace that sends us into the world steady, loving, truthful, humble, and bold.

Send us as covered people.

Send us as peaceful people.

Send us as prayerful people.

Send us as truthful people.

Send us as Spirit-led people.

Send us as people who know where our help comes from.

We declare today:

Our homes will know the peace of God.

Our families will come under the covering of God.

Our churches will return to prayer and truth.

Our communities will encounter the love of Christ.

Our workplaces will see integrity and wisdom.

Our children will be taught of the Lord.

Our cities need the peace of God.

The Lord is our Keeper.

The Lord is our Refuge.

The Lord is our Covering.

The Lord Jesus Christ is our Peace.

We will dwell under His covering.

We will rest in His peace.

And we will carry that peace wherever He sends us.

In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.

Father God, we have prayed for Your covering over our hearts, our minds, our homes, our families, our churches, our communities, our workplaces, and our cities. Now we ask You to seal this second day of 10 Days Ablaze with Your peace, Your presence, Your protection, Your wisdom, and Your covering.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us not only to pray about peace, but to live in peace.

Teach us not only to speak about covering, but to dwell under covering.

Teach us not only to ask for rest, but to receive the rest that comes from trusting You.

Father, let every word that has been prayed today take root in us. Let it not fall to the ground. Let it not be forgotten after the call ends. Let it become part of how we think, how we speak, how we rest, how we respond, and how we walk through the days ahead.

Your Word declares:

Isaiah 32:17

"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever."

Father, let the work of righteousness produce peace in us. Let the effect of righteousness produce quietness and assurance. Not loud fear. Not restless striving. Not constant worry. But quietness and assurance because our lives are anchored in You.

Lord, quiet what needs to be quieted.

Settle what needs to be settled.

Cover what needs to be covered.

Heal what needs to be healed.

Strengthen what needs to be strengthened.

Correct what needs to be corrected.

Restore what needs to be restored.

Father, we ask You to seal our minds in peace. Let our thoughts not run wild. Let fear not build stories that You did not write. Let anxiety not become the voice we obey. Let worry not become the place where we live.

Your Word says:

Romans 8:6

"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

Father, make us spiritually minded. Let life and peace fill our thinking. Let the Holy Spirit guide our thoughts. Let the Word of God renew our minds. Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.

Lord Jesus Christ, cover our homes. Let our homes be places where Your presence is welcomed and Your peace is honored. Let our homes not be ruled by confusion, strife, heaviness, fear, or disorder.

Let peace enter every room.

Let peace settle every conversation.

Let peace guard every relationship.

Let peace cover every child.

Let peace comfort every elder.

Let peace strengthen every caregiver.

Let peace surround every person living alone.

Let peace rest upon every family connected to this prayer journey.

Your Word declares:

Numbers 6:24–26

"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:"

"The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:"

"The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

Father, bless us and keep us. Make Your face shine upon us. Be gracious unto us. Lift up Your countenance upon us and give us peace.

Give peace to the weary.

Give peace to the waiting.

Give peace to the grieving.

Give peace to the uncertain.

Give peace to the faithful servant.

Give peace to the household under pressure.

Give peace to the one who is doing their best to keep standing.

Lord, we thank You that Your covering is not weak. Your peace is not small. Your presence is not far away. You are near. You are faithful. You are our refuge and our fortress.

Father, we ask You to preserve Your people. Preserve us from evil. Preserve us from panic. Preserve us from emotional decisions. Preserve us from confusion. Preserve us from unnecessary warfare. Preserve us from stepping outside of Your will.

Your Word says:

Psalm 4:8

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety."

Father, let Your people sleep in peace. Let rest return. Let peaceful sleep return. Let the night season be covered. Let minds be quieted. Let bodies be restored. Let hearts be comforted.

We rebuke torment in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We rebuke fear in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We rebuke unrest in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We rebuke confusion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We speak peace over the people of God.

We speak peace over homes.

We speak peace over families.

We speak peace over minds.

We speak peace over the rest of this prayer journey.

Lord, we ask You to cover the remaining days of 10 Days Ablaze. Go before every leader. Go before every reader. Go before every listener. Go before every prayer. Go before every scripture. Go before every household that will connect with this assignment.

Let these ten days continue to build.

Let Day One’s awakening remain.

Let Day Two’s covering settle.

Let truth and peace work together in us.

Let fire and rest work together in us.

Let courage and humility work together in us.

Let discernment and love work together in us.

Let obedience and peace work together in us.

Father, do not let us become people who are stirred but not changed. Do not let us be moved in the moment and unchanged in our walk. Make this prayer journey fruitful. Make it lasting. Make it holy. Make it pleasing in Your sight.

Your Word declares:

2 Thessalonians 3:16

"Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all."

Lord of peace, give us peace always by all means.

Peace in the morning.

Peace in the evening.

Peace in the waiting.

Peace in the working.

Peace in the serving.

Peace in the decision.

Peace in the transition.

Peace in the storm.

Peace in the unknown.

Peace under Your covering.

Father, we declare that the Lord is with us. The Lord is keeping us. The Lord is covering us. The Lord is leading us. The Lord is preserving us. The Lord is giving us peace.

We will not rush out from under Your covering.

We will not trade peace for panic.

We will not trade trust for fear.

We will not trade obedience for pressure.

We will not trade Your presence for our own understanding.

We will dwell.

We will abide.

We will rest.

We will trust.

Lord Jesus Christ, You are our peace. You are our covering. You are our refuge. You are our Shepherd. You are our Keeper. You are our hiding place. You are our Lord.

Seal this prayer in every heart. Seal this Word in every home. Seal this peace in every mind. Seal this covering over every family. Seal this assignment in the will of God.

Father, thank You for Day Two. Thank You for teaching us to dwell under Your covering and rest in Your peace. Thank You for reminding us that we are not uncovered, forgotten, abandoned, or alone. Thank You that we can rest because You are Lord.

Now seal this prayer in the mighty, holy, peaceful, powerful, righteous, and matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen. Amen. And Amen.

Faith and Fitness Family, this has been Deacon Melvin Adams, and I thank God for the opportunity to lead us in Day Two of 10 Days Ablaze. Let us carry this peace with us today. Let us stay under the covering of God. Let us rest in Christ, walk in wisdom, and remember that the Lord is our refuge, our fortress, and our peace.
